These roles, in addition to special projects, help CHI/Optima in fulfilling the ever increasing goal of offering valuable Risk Management education to the CHI clients.

Millie's passion for health care education has grown through her years of experience in health care. In the 1990's, Millie became a Clinical Specialist for Nellcor, Inc., the medical monitoring company that founded pulse oximetry. She taught physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists and other health care professionals throughout New England about oximetry, capnography and the clinical value of these technologies. After this experience, Millie came to Optima in 2002. She continues to hold active nursing licenses in both California and Nevada.
