Susie Bashaw

Senior Account Manager

Susie joined Optima in September 2007, as Senior Account Manager. Susie's primary
responsibilities are to provide prompt and efficient customer service to Optima insured's as well as working through organizational and procedural process reviews, compliance and updates. In addition to the day-to-day activities that her accounts require, Susie works closely with Account Executives as well as company underwriters and is responsible for renewal application preparation, marketing and proposal preparation.

Prior to joining Optima, Susie worked for a commercial lines agency which specialized in providing Professional Liability coverage's and all other lines of Property & Casualty coverage's specific to hospitals and large medical groups. Susie was responsible for client and underwriter relations, marketing, pricing and presenting quotations to insureds. Before moving into the healthcare industry side of insurance, Susie worked as an Account Manager with several large Property & Casualty agencies in the bay area, handling large commercial accounts.

Susie brings with her to Optima 17 years experience in the commercial insurance agency industry. She currently maintains a fire & casualty insurance agent license and is pursuing a "Certified Insurance Counselor" (CIC) designation.
