Bob Strader

Senior Claims Specialist

Bob Strader joined Optima Healthcare Insurances Services in August 2004, bringing over 30 years experience in the investigation, evaluation, management and resolution of General Liability and Professional Liability Claims. He is based in the Newport Beach office providing claims service to both Northern and Southern California insureds.

Bob's experience was 31 years with Farmers Insurance Group. During that time he handled General Liability Claims for 9 years as a Personal Injury Adjustor and Litigation Specialist. In 1982, he began working for the Professional Liability Division of Farmers serving hospital and physician insureds.

Bob has over the years developed business relationships with many hospital Risk Managers and Administrators. He has also developed business relationships with defense and plaintiff attorneys as well as judges and mediators.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from California State College Long Beach and obtained a secondary teaching credential from the University of Southern California.
