Senior Claims Specialist

Crystal Hayes has over 20 years of experience in the handling and management of Professional Liability, General Liability, Employment Practices Liability and Elder Abuse claims.

Crystal’s prior medical malpractice experience includes employment with SCPIE Indemnity Company managing high exposure, complex cases including complex multi-party litigation, neurologically compromised infants, and wrongful death lawsuits. She specialized in high profile, large volume accounts, including: large physician groups and CALAMOS, an oral and maxillofacial surgery group with more than 200 surgeons located statewide. Crystal was also involved in establishing SCPIE’s Hospital Professional Liability Unit.

Crystal’s professional background also includes 10 years of employment in the Claims Division at American Medical International, a self-insured company who owned and operated more than 100 hospitals nationwide. Crystal has multi-state claims experience.

Crystal is a California native who earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration with emphasis on Marketing/Management from California State University, Fullerton.
